Marianne Majerus est l’une des meilleures photographes de jardins au monde. Elle a illustré de nombreux livres et contribue régulièrement à de nombreuses publications nationales et internationales, notamment House and Garden, Gardens Illustrated, Country Life, The English Garden, Garden Design, Gardenia (Italie), Homes and Gardens, The World of Interiors, The Garden, The Financial Times, The Sunday Times, The Daily Telegraph et The Guardian, ainsi que de nombreux magazines en Allemagne, France, Italie, Pays-Bas, Russie, États-Unis, Afrique du Sud, Australie et Japon.

In the photographs of Marianne Majerus the plants themselves are paramount. She avoids objectifying them and projecting onto them human characteristics or emotions. She sees plants as mysterious essences with which we share a common condition as mortal living beings.  Marianne Majerus finds it exhilarating to spend time with plants, intensely observing and recording their beauty and energy. The resulting intimate portraits celebrate the beauty of fleeting moments in the life of plants.

Krystyna Dul, born in Poland, since 2010 she has been living and working in Luxembourg. She is a graduate of the Pedagogical University in Krakow, Poland (MA in Political Science and complementary study in Journalism) and obtained Master degree in Creative Photography at the Silesian University in Opava, Czech Republic. Her works were shown in group exhibitions in France, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Luxembourg. She received “la Bourse CNA” scholarship for photography project “Resonance” (2016 – Luxembourg), was nominated for the Edward Steichen Award Luxembourg (2017), Prix de la Photo Madame Figaro (2019) and completed the Sputnik Mentoring Program in Warsaw, Poland (2016-2017). In 2019 she represented Luxembourg at Les Rencontres de la photographie in Arles (FR) with her solo exhibition ‘Resonance’ and book publication supported with the found stART-up STUDIO by Œuvre nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte.
