The European Month of Photography association (EMoP) is a not for profit network of photo institutions. Currently this international network consists of Kulturprojekte Berlin, Photo Brussels Festival, Foto Wien (Vienna), Imago Lisbon, FetArt- Circulations Paris and Café-Crème asbl Luxembourg.

The European Month of Photography (EMoP) as an international network was initiated in 2004 by the Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Paris, and its director Jean-Luc Monterosso as a joint venture between European capitals hosting a photography festival with the aim to confront expertise in curatorial practice in photography and the intention to develop common projects, notably exhibitions, including exchange of information about the local photographers and artists concerned with photography. As founding members acted the Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Paris, the Cultural Department of the City of Berlin (Museumspädagogischer Dienst Berlin headed by Thomas Friedrich) and the Department for Cultural Affairs of the City of Vienna (director Bernhard Denscher) who designated the MUSA Vienna ( Museum auf Abruf ) as manager of the Vienna photo festival. Those three members were subsequently joined by the Central European House of Photography Bratislava, the Museum of Photography Moscow, the association Zone Attive working for the City of Rome and Café-Crème asbl for Luxembourg. Moscow and Rome left the network in 2010 but Photon Association, Ljubljana, and the Association of Hungarian Photographers in Budapest joined in 2012, Hellenic Center of Photography Athens in 2014. In 2013, these institutions decided to unite as a non-profit association with its headquarters based in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg. In 2018, the City of Vienna moved the management of the local festival to Kunst Haus Wien.
Since 2020 network members are Kulturprojekte Berlin, Foto Brussels / Hangar, FetArt-Circulations Paris, Imago Lisboa, Foto Wien and Café-Crème asbl Luxembourg.
