Our association is actively preparing 2019, the seventh edition of the festival. The opening days will take place from 15 to 18 May 2019. As in previous years, art institutions and private galleries will participate in this event, which has become a must in the Luxembourg cultural landscape.
Even if most of the exhibitions should be located again in the capital, notably at Mudam, at the Casino Forum d’art contemporain, at MnHA and Cercle-Cité, at Villa Vauban, the cities of Dudelange, Ettelbruck and Clervaux are also part of it.
We hope to find on a larger scale the National Library, the National Archives and the Carré-Rotondes space or the Fondation des Architectes (LUCA).
As for the private galleries, we will have the participation of the new Valerius gallery next to the regulars that are the Clairefontaine Gallery and the Nosbaum & Reding Gallery.
Let us also mention our faithful partner the law firm Arendt, which over the years has proved to be an essential support. The study provides important support for our initiatives, notably through the creation of the Arendt European Month of Photography Award.
Under the title Body Fiction, the chosen theme revolves around the human figure and its representation.
