As part of the 9th European Month of Photography, with the theme of Rethinking Identity, the Casino Luxembourg Art Forum is showing an exhibition called “Bodies of Identities” that explores the complex questions around identity in contemporary society. Nowadays, identity issues – sometimes confusing and often conflicting – arise from a mix of different concerns related to psychology, philosophy, biology, and geography. The exhibition features the diverse works of around twenty artists who echo the relationship between individuals and society, and its underlying tensions and conflicts. They aim to challenge current hierarchies and identity politics.
